About Me...

I am a Master's student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Governor's State University. I expect to graduate in May 2027.

What Led Me to the Mental Health Field...

After taking a psychology course in high school, I wasinterested in learning more about how the mind works and why people make certain decisions and behave in certain ways.I also was witness to a close friend battle mental health issues, and they received minimal support from their parents at thetime. I realized that mental health needs were vastly overlooked, especially in the African-American community.

My Hope for Our Clients...

I'm the first person you will speak with at MCC. I want all of our clients to supported and accepted from the very first phone call.

I love reading. My favorite genres are romance and fantasy.

I love to travel. Last summer I went to Japan!
