It isn’t supposed to be like this. The pillow talk that once felt sacred has been replaced by silence between two strangers in the same bed. Every word feels like a landmine, and even the smallest interaction risks becoming a full-blown argument. You're walking on eggshells. The connection is gone, replaced by cold distance, resentment, or indifference. You miss the laughter, the touches, and the feeling of being truly seen. Most of all, you miss your best friend, the one who made life lighter just by being there.

You’re ready to find your way back to that person. To rebuild the warmth, safety, and joy you once shared. Imagine feeling close again, sharing your thoughts and dreams with ease, knowing you’re facing life together as a team. Picture the comfort of being fully understood without needing to explain, and the peace of knowing your partner is truly on your side.

As a Level 3-trained Gottman therapist currently on the certification track, I help couples rediscover that closeness. Using the Gottman Method, we’ll rebuild trust, improve communication, and strengthen your emotional connection. You'll learn to use “gentle start-ups,” “repair attempts,” and “turning toward” moments to reconnect, while developing deep “Love Maps” that foster understanding and admiration.

I also work with individuals who feel stuck in the pain of their past, those memories that sneak in when you least expect it, that heaviness you can’t quite shake. Maybe you've tried talking it out before, only to feel overwhelmed or drained by the process. That’s where Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) comes in. It’s a powerful, eye-movement-based approach that helps you process and resolve painful memories without having to relive every detail. Many of my clients are amazed at how quickly they begin to feel lighter, like the emotional charge has finally been released. ART allows us to rewire the way your brain stores distress, helping you move forward with greater peace and clarity. If you’ve been carrying something for too long, you don’t have to carry it alone, or forever.

With over 20 years of experience in diverse clinical settings, ranging from domestic violence support to adolescent residential care and private practice, I bring both depth and versatility to the therapy room. I believe every person is the expert of their own life, and I provide a compassionate, collaborative space for growth, healing, and transformation.

Milestones Counseling Center is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. I’m honored to support you in reclaiming your connection, rediscovering your strength, and creating a more fulfilling life.
